New Chalet Club AGM 2023

Please note: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the coach tour will now visit Saltaire and Haworth.

AGM update: We have a new venue! The Bradford Midland Hotel is a beautiful Victorian railway hotel dating from1890.

Please email agm@newchaletclub.co.uk if you have previously booked but the change of location means that you now cannot come.

Note that the Midland is charging less for twin rooms, so the cost for sharing a room is now £230 while the charge for single rooms remains at £280.

Friday 15th September
- Check in to the hotel and register for the conference.
- Informal dinner followed by an entertainment.
- By popular demand, Joy’s Jigsaw Corner will be available.

Saturday 16th September
Day:
- A coach tour exploring literary locations in the West Riding
  - Saltaire, a mill and workers' village built by woolen manufacturer Sir Titus Salt
  - Haworth, famed as the home of the Bronte sisters
Evening:
- Formal Dinner with guest speaker, to be confirmed.
Sunday 17th September
- AGM of the New Chalet Club
- Book and craft sale
- Buffet lunch

The weekend will end at approximately 2pm.

The cost of the weekend will be £230.00 for a shared room or £280.00 for single occupancy

Insurance in case of cancellation

Once your place is confirmed, your deposit is non-refundable. There is limited scope for the refund of further sums paid for the weekend, (although we would do our best to help) so you might care to take out insurance for the weekend. If you have an annual holiday/travel insurance policy it may well cover you for trips within the UK, so do check with your insurer before taking out a special policy.
